1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the GasTac application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
GasTac provides a mobile application for gas engineers to create and send digital documents including invoices, CP12 landlord gas safety certificates, and other professional paperwork. The App also includes tools such as a gas rate calculator, pipe sizing calculator, calendar, and job notes.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.
4. Subscription Plans
- Free Plan: Access to core features at no cost.
- Monthly Plan: £5 per month with additional features. Cancel anytime.
- Yearly Plan: £50 per year with the same Premium features.
Prices are in GBP and may be subject to change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Your Data & Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App (invoices, certificates, notes, photos). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App
- Interfere with the App's security or functionality
- Create fraudulent documents or misrepresent your qualifications
7. Professional Responsibility
GasTac is a tool to assist gas engineers. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and compliance of all documents you create. The App does not replace professional judgement, and you must ensure all work complies with relevant gas safety regulations and standards.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GasTac shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
